Popcaan to release second studio album

Popcaan has announced the release of his highly anticipated studio album Forever, set be released this summer by Mixpak Records.

The long awaited album is the follow up to his 2014 debut album, ‘Where We Come From’ also released by Mixpak.

Check out the first single “Body So Good” which was released on May 11, 2018.

Meek Mill is a free man!

After being sentenced to two to four years behind bars, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has granted the Philly rapper’s release on bail “pending a hearing in about 60 days to possibly dismiss the conviction.”

In addition, Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin picked Meek Mill up from jail and took him to tonight’s game vs Miami Heat where the Sixers look to win the series at Wells Fargo Center.

Drake announces new album, Scorpion will be released in June

Today Monday April 16, Drake took to his Instagram to announce the upcoming release of his new album with a photo of himself wearing a jacket with his name, album title and release date.

The Canadian rapper recently release the music video for the song “Nice for What” which debut at #1 on Billboard’s Hot100, replacing his previous single “God’s Plan” from is two track project “Scary Hour”. Both videos went viral along with Migos` music video for “Walk It Tall It”

It is unclear wether the record will be a studio album, EP or mixtape. Drake’s last major project was the commercial mixtape, More Life, released in March 2017, and wrapped up with the line “I’ll be back 2018 to give you the summary.”

J. Cole announces release date for new album ‘KOD’ out Friday 4/20

On Monday April 16 at around 4pm, the rapper posted a message on Twitter asking his followers to “come through” to the Gramercy Theatre in New York City at 6 p.m for a free show for his fans and it was first come, first serve.

At the surprise concert the North Carolina rapper played his entire new album for those who were lucky to attend. The new album, Kod stands for three different subtitles: kidz on drugz, king overdose and kill our demonz according to Rap Radar’s B.Dot.

After the concert, he revealed on Twitter the album’s title and release date: KOD will be out this Friday April 20, 2018. This will be Cole’s fifth album and his first since 2016’s 4 Your Eyez Only.

Damian Marley “Stony Hill” album set for release

Damian Marley will release his 4th solo studio album, titled Stony Hill, on July 21, 2017. This will be his first solo album in 12 years since the Grammy-winning reggae album, Welcome To Jamrock released in September 2005. Backed by the first single Nail Pon Cross, released in August 2016. The album sound will show Jr. Gong’s growth as a vocalist as there will be more singing involved than his previous albums.

CHRONIXX ANNOUNCES ‘CHRONOLOGY NORTH AMERICAN TOUR’ 2017

Chronixx announces he will be embarking on a massive North American tour next Spring entitled Chronology, the same name as his debut album slated for an early 2017 release.

Chronixx & Zincfence Redemption band kick off the tour on March 2 in Connecticut before heading to cities like LA, Chicago, Houston, Montreal and Toronto on a 38-date tour across USA and Canada, concluding on April 30 in New York.

In the past 12 months, Chronixx has continued his ascent to international stardom, releasing the highly-praised Roots and Chalice mixtape, which follows his acclaimed Dread & Terrible Project (2014). In 2016, he toured Africa, Japan, Europe and the United States. Aside from his headlining shows, he entertained audiences at Coachella (USA), Austin City Limits (USA), Lovebox (UK) and One Love (Italy) festivals. He also supported the iconic Manchester rock band Stone Roses at the first of five sold-out nights in Manchester City Football Club’s Etihad Stadium.
